There's No Place Like Home!

Ahhh, after five days/four nights at CHA Chicago, I'm finally home.  Back to the kids arguing, dirty clothes and dishes begging to be washed.  {It's great to be home!}  ha!  ;)

CHA is always a blast.  It's so much fun to meet up with people you've known for years but only get to see a couple times a year.  I also met quite a few people that I've been talking to and emailing for the last few months.  It's so great to put a face to a voice and name.  ;)

My trip started out with a Copic Certification Class, taught by Marianne (the amazing!)  It was such an incredible experience to play and learn about these wonderful markers.  If you think a marker is just a marker, you HAVE to check these out!

At the class, I met so many wonderful stampers/scrapbookers.  Some were familiar with inque, others weren't, so it was fun to share our stamps with them.

The show started on Friday and ended on Sunday.  I flew home late Sunday night.  Here are a few photos...

Cha4_2 Kitty Foster and Wendy McKeehan stopped by to show us their new book!  Woo Hoo!  You go girls!

Cha2

The Super Duper talented Debbie Olson amazes me everday on her blog.  It was such a joy to meet her in person.  We spend time on the phone and emailing and it was so great just giving her a hug!  :)

Trudeesauer

Ahh, Trudee Sauer is so wonderful!  She is also amazing with Copic Markers.  :)

Cha3 Here we are pointing out a few card designs by Lana Lepinski.  Lana couldn't make it to the show, but a BUNCH of her friends came by!  :)

Cha8

Ha ha...here's another photo with Wendy and Kitty from the last day of the show...I guess they just couldn't stay away.  {grin}

I'm so shamed that I didn't get photos with everyone that stopped by.  I missed a photo opp with Kathy Marie Perez, Taylor Vanbruggen, Michelle Wooderson, Lindsey Botkin and so many others.  :(  (How can I call myself a scrapbooker?!?)

Well, I better start working on all the emails I have in my inbox.

Big hugs to all,

Stephanie

P.S.  In case my husband ever reads this, I was only *kidding* about the dirty clothes and dishes.....{grin}

Plastic Surgery at inque....

Okay, I don't usually tell secrets like this one, but I just had to share the scoop on someone at inque who has had "a little work done." We all thought she was pretty great before, but now she's so fresh, pretty and feminine, I just want to show her off!

Click the video below to see who I'm talking about, PLUS see a great project idea from fellow inque member Karen S. from Santa Fe, New Mexico. You won't believe how quick and easy it is to make a beautiful background for projects using nothing more than paper and our ink pads!

Hugs!

Betcha Can’t Choose Just One!

Okay, so here’s the thing … there were some really great projects in the gallery this week. It took us FOREVER to narrow down our choices and then FOREVER AND A DAY to whittle it down to just two. Then we sat and we stared at them. And we stared some more. And we talked back and forth and forth and back until we just couldn’t take it any more. We could not just pick one winner!

So then we gave up and decided to *amend* our rules a bit. This week, one winner would not be enough, so we chose TWO!

Our $50 winner is Jillian A. from Kitchener , Canada . Jillian stamped & scrapped her heart out on this awesome “Boys of Summer” page.

3644boys20of20summer20ib1  Jillian combined chipboard and papers from the Cabana paper pack with Cabana stamps, stickers and chipboard, plus stamps from two other sets to create the perfect complements to her adorable photo. Great job, Jillian!

Running a very close second was Connie N. from Missouri , whom we should call “The Morsels Master.” Connie made our jaws drop with this absolutely gorgeous scene stamped using several sets of Morsels. 8341save0025 We couldn’t let this amazing work of art go unrecognized, so Connie now gets to choose $25 in Inque Boutique stamps!

And if you want to see more of Connie’s work using Morsels, check out her butterfly card, floral basket, bird & flowers and “Thinking of You” card.

Thanks so much for sharing, Connie! You’ve definitely inspired ME to pick up my Morsels again!

I’d love to see YOUR work in the gallery, too! Join in the fun, upload projects you create using Inque Boutique products and you might just win yourself a whole lotta stamps! Hope to see you there soon!

Have a great 4th, everybody!

Hugs,

Stephanie

The Gallery is Hoppin’!

53265easterbaskets

Sorry, couldn’t resist the pun as I announce this week’s gallery winner, Lily G. from Florida ! Lily won for her adorable Easter layout featuring an awesome border of stamped & layered images from our Bunnies & Chicks set, and a title stamped using our Typewriter Alphabet and Easter mini set.

I love the little bunny head over the “A” and the hopping bunny in the title. Great job, Lily!

Lily uploaded a second Easter page that’s just as cute. Hop on over to the gallery and check it out! It’s more great inspiration for those of you who haven’t yet scrapped this year’s Easter photos (you know who you are *wink*!).

And if you aren’t uploading your projects to the gallery yet, hop to it! Every week, someone like Lily wins $50 in the Inque Boutique stamps of his or her choice! Next week, it could be you!

Okay, I’m officially out of hopping puns, so it’s back to work for me!

Hugs,

Stephanie

Wow! Check out this layout!

64530 This week’s gallery winner is Josee G. from Quebec City , Canada ! We simply couldn’t resist this darling photo of Josee’s sleeping son perfectly scrapped with lots of Inque Boutique stamps, including a journaling circle from our Narrative Elements set and a couple of fun flourishes from one of our clear stamp sets called Monarch. Josee titled her page using our Spunky Alphabet inqueboard chipboard, which she inked black. Excellent page, Josee!

We can’t wait to see what else Josee comes up with, now that she’s won herself $50 in Inque Boutique stamps! We’ll pick another winner next week, so be sure to upload your projects using our products soon.

See you in the gallery!

Hugs,

Stephanie

This week's Gallery Winner!

Tosha L. of Dinuba , CA is this week’s gallery winner with her absolutely gorgeous “Flutter Elegance"Flutterelegance card made using stamps from our Flutter By Butterfly  and Birdie sets. The colors are subdued, but the look is still so dramatically beautiful, thanks to her layering of paper, ribbon and stamped images, complete with a 3-D stamped butterfly on top.

Are you inspired? Check out our gallery daily to see what your fellow stampers are creating and join in on the fun yourself. Each week, one lucky gallery participant will win $50 in the Inque Boutique stamps of his or her choice, just like Tosha did this week!

Hugs,

Stephanie
